These are for my friend Liz, who's been rather famous on this blog. This was her mini-shoot with her little sister when she was helping me pack the day before I left for Rochester.

Hope you like them Liz ♥

For those of you who have asked, I absolutely love it here in New York and couldn't be happier at school. I am definitely looking forward to seeing San Antonio weather again though! :]

The blog might be a little boring over the next couple of months because my main focus will be music for awhile, but I have a couple of shoots spread out over the fall that I'm looking forward to as well as some musician headshots that might find their way here sometime soon. Keep checking back!

*Finally* finished, five posts later! Tomorrow will be a whirlwind of e-mails and packaging and packing, and then I'll be on a plane to Rochester Saturday morning. I can't believe it's already here!

So, for the last session of the summer: I took senior portraits for a good friend of mine. She is SO photogenic...super pretty eyes & hair and she made my job so easy :]

♥♥♥

Night everyone!

I am so excited about this session! You might remember this little girl from previous blog entries...this is my third time taking pictures of her, and I'm really enjoying watching her grow up. She is the cutest thing!!! This time around we did the whole family. The three of them seem so happy together :]

We did a few pictures of just mom and dad...

...and just miss A:

Here she is waving goodbye!

Headshots are so much fun...I love it when I have an opportunity to take more artistic pictures, and that's what Sergio wanted out of his photo shoot. This session was downtown, like so many others lately. It's quickly become my favorite place for pictures. So much energy & interesting sights :]

He is an aspiring [& extremely talented] viola player, and I know he definitely has a future in music.

These next pictures were taken downtown at the central public library, also known as the "red enchilada." Here's an overview of the awesome building, in case you've never seen it:

And here's what Sergio & I got out of it:

This next set is one of my favorites from the shoot...we took these at a unique two-story Starbucks on the Riverwalk. Someone told me once that it was one of the only of its kind in the world...? I'm probably wrong, but I thought it was interesting. Anyway, they have a bunch of music stations with CDs that you can listen to, and you can even make your own mix and burn it in the store if you want. It's such a cool place...check it out if you ever get a chance.

This is my first time to do maternity portraits, and this couple's first baby! They seem so thrilled, and I know they will be wonderful parents. Kim really does glow...she was meant to be a mom.

Found this awesome spot at a new Target store and I knew I had to take a picture there before leaving S.A...

I saved my favorite for last :] So maybe it's a little cliche, but whoever came up with the heart idea was seriously creative & cute.

Best of luck to both of you! I know you will be great, and I can't wait to meet your son in December!

That's what miss D and I were for this session...seriously, the weird things I will do to earn a smile for the camera! This little girl and her brother are the most adorable siblings and I had fun photographing them in downtown San Antonio.

Her pouty face is SO adorable!

We were walking downtown and heard these live mariachis playing in the middle of the street. What an awesome way to end the session :] Here is D watching them with his mom.

You four are such a sweet family, and thank you for inviting me to take pictures!
